Epithalon, also known as Epitalon, is a synthetic tetrapeptide composed of four amino acids and commonly represented by the sequence Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly (AEDG).

Its compact four-amino-acid structure has made Epithalon a distinctive subject in short-peptide and peptide-bioregulation research. Laboratory studies have investigated its interactions with cellular regulatory mechanisms, gene-expression pathways and processes associated with cellular ageing.

Epithalon has also attracted research interest in relation to telomerase activity and telomere-associated cellular mechanisms.
