Product & Research Profile
Kisspeptin-10 is a synthetic decapeptide corresponding to the biologically active C-terminal region of the larger kisspeptin peptide family encoded by the KISS1 gene.

It acts as a high-affinity ligand for the kisspeptin receptor KISS1R, formerly known as GPR54, a G-protein-coupled receptor involved in defined intracellular signalling pathways. Laboratory research commonly examines KISS1R activation, phospholipase-C-associated signalling, intracellular calcium mobilisation and downstream receptor-response mechanisms.

Because Kisspeptin-10 represents the minimal highly active region of the endogenous kisspeptin sequence, it is particularly useful for controlled studies of peptide–receptor binding, GPCR pharmacology, structure–activity relationships and comparison with longer kisspeptin isoforms such as kisspeptin-54.

Its defined ten-amino-acid structure also makes it suitable for analytical characterisation, receptor-response assays and comparative peptide research involving the KISS1/KISS1R signalling system.

Supplied as a lyophilised powder in sealed laboratory vials, Kisspeptin-10 is available in 5mg and 10mg quantities for research and analytical applications.
