Product & Research Profile
LL-37 is a synthetic 37-amino-acid research peptide corresponding to the human cathelicidin-derived peptide LL-37, a prominent component of innate host-defence research.

Its amphipathic, alpha-helical structure gives LL-37 distinctive membrane-interaction properties. Laboratory studies have investigated its behaviour with phospholipid membranes, lipid-associated structures and bacterial membrane models, alongside its interactions with lipopolysaccharides and other components involved in innate immune signalling.

These structural and biochemical characteristics make LL-37 of particular interest in controlled research involving antimicrobial peptide mechanisms, membrane permeabilisation, peptide–lipid interactions, host-defence signalling, structural analysis and analytical reference comparison.

Supplied as a lyophilised powder in sealed laboratory vials, LL-37 is available in a 5mg quantity for research and analytical applications.
