Product & Research Profile
TB500 is a synthetic thymosin beta-4-derived research peptide commonly associated with the acetylated LKKTETQ sequence corresponding to the central actin-binding region of thymosin beta-4.

This region is of particular interest because thymosin beta-4 interacts with monomeric G-actin and participates in regulation of actin polymerisation. The conserved LKKTETQ motif contributes to actin-associated molecular interactions, giving TB500 a distinctive research profile within cytoskeletal and cellular-motility studies.

Laboratory research involving thymosin beta-4-derived sequences includes investigation of actin dynamics, cytoskeletal organisation, cell migration, peptide–protein interactions and structure–activity relationships. TB500 is therefore useful for controlled comparative studies examining the contribution of defined thymosin beta-4 sequences to these molecular processes.

Supplied as a lyophilised powder in sealed laboratory vials, TB500 is available in a 10mg quantity for research and analytical applications.
