TESAMORELIN (Lyophilised)
Product & Research Profile
Tesamorelin is a synthetic 44-amino-acid analogue of human growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), also known as growth hormone-releasing factor. Its peptide backbone corresponds closely to native human GHRH(1-44) but incorporates a trans-3-hexenoyl modification at the N-terminal tyrosine residue.
This structural modification increases resistance to enzymatic degradation while retaining strong interaction with the GHRH receptor, giving Tesamorelin a distinct research profile compared with unmodified GHRH and shorter GHRH fragments.
Tesamorelin is therefore of particular interest in controlled laboratory research involving GHRH-receptor binding, receptor-mediated signalling, peptide stability, enzymatic resistance and structure–activity relationships.
Its defined 44-amino-acid sequence and N-terminal modification also make it useful for analytical characterisation and comparative studies involving native GHRH, Sermorelin and other synthetic GHRH analogues.
Supplied as a lyophilised powder in sealed laboratory vials, Tesamorelin is available in 5mg and 10mg quantities for research and analytical applications.
