Product & Research Profile
Thymosin Alpha-1, commonly abbreviated Tα1, is a synthetic 28-amino-acid peptide corresponding to the N-terminal region of prothymosin alpha. Its naturally occurring form is N-terminally acetylated, giving it a defined structure that distinguishes it from other thymosin-family research peptides.

Thymosin Alpha-1 has been extensively investigated in laboratory models involving immune-cell signalling and regulation of both innate and adaptive immune pathways. Research has examined its interactions with dendritic cells, T-lymphocyte signalling, cytokine regulation and Toll-like receptor-associated pathways, including mechanisms involving TLR2 and TLR9.

Its immunoregulatory research profile makes Thymosin Alpha-1 particularly relevant to controlled studies of immune-cell communication, receptor-mediated signalling, inflammatory pathway regulation, peptide–cell interactions and comparative immunological research.

Its defined 28-amino-acid structure also supports analytical characterisation, structure–activity studies and comparison with other thymosin-derived peptides and immune-signalling compounds.

Supplied as a lyophilised powder in sealed laboratory vials, Thymosin Alpha-1 is available in 5mg and 10mg quantities for research and analytical applications.
